Nail restoration involves creating a prosthetic toenail out of a moldable silicon gel that give your feet a clean, natural appearance while your body takes the time to grow the natural nail out.

During your appointment, your Podiatrist will take your medical history including any diagnoses that could affect your foot's healing trajectory to ensure nail restoration is safe and will be effective in restoring your foot's natural appearance.

Your Podiatrist will then clean your feet and debride any portion of damaged nail still on your toe, which is a process of filing down and shaping the nail remnants after removing any diseased tissues so they are ready to be restored.

Next, your Podiatrist will apply KeryFlex® medical resin onto your toe and mold it so that it matches any remaining portion of natural nail still on your toe. Next they will set the gel by exposing it to UV light, which hardens the resin to give it a realistic feel and shape.
